  • Menopause or an additional event like a hysterectomy, chemotherapy, or breastfeeding could lead to a decline in the production of estrogen in the ovaries. A limited or slower production of estrogen has been shown to lead to thinning, drying, and inflammation of the vaginal walls. Following these events, many women experience a decrease in vaginal function.

How long does diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy take?
The comfortable and ergonomic design allows for quick and easy treatments, the procedure only takes 3 to 5 minutes to treat the entire length of the vaginal canal.
Do I need more than one treatment?
Yes, you will need more than 1 treatment. The first year you would schedule 3 diVa™ treatments approximately 4 weeks apart. Follow up treatments would be once a year.
What does diVa feel like?

Most women report only a slight pressure against the vaginal walls during their treatment. Some patients also report an increase in sensitivity near their vaginal opening. diVa laser therapy is fast and promises minimal discomfort*.

What do women experience in the 48 hours following treatment?

You may return to your daily activities immediately after the vaginal rejuvenation treatment. However, we advise that you refrain from sexual intercourse for at least 48 hours after treatment. We also suggest avoiding all bath tubs, swimming pools, or Jacuzzi for the 48 hours following the procedure. Women may experience minimal spotting, cramping, and a slight sunburn feeling.

PRP Therapy
  • Although platelets are best known for their importance in clotting blood, platelets also contain hundreds of proteins called growth factors which accelerate tissue repair and wound healing. These growth factors activate and stimulate regeneration by encouraging collagen production in your own skin.
  • When combined with diVa®, PRP helps to improve the thickening of the vaginal walls and to reverse volume loss in these walls as a result of aging. In combination with the diVa®, we take advantage of the disrupted skin surface and we simply apply PRP directly over the surface of the treated area.
  • The PRP is rapidly absorbed and exerts its effect deep into the skin through the micro-channels in the vagina that the laser has created.
